For decades, the dream was to have a cozy little home in the suburbs with a big backyard for the kids to have room to run and play.
Over the years, that dream expanded to include a covered patio for Mom and Dad to get some fresh air while staying out of the hot sun, with perhaps a simple swimming pool where the family could take a dip to cool off. As American living has gotten busier and more complex, and the pressures of juggling work and family time have grown, we look to our backyard for more: an escape to a place of total relaxation; a place to amuse our children and entertain our guests. The knowledgeable and talented designers at Premier Pools of Central Florida, Inc. (PPCF) have the experience, know-how and tools to help you create your backyard paradise. With a quick call, the PPCF specialists will come out to your home, assess your space, and talk with you about your recreational aspirations and aesthetic ideals. With that information, they can quickly show you, in a stunning 3D graphic, how they can transform your dreams into reality. The homeowners of this property on Merritt Island wanted to feel as though they were on a remote tropical island when they stepped into their backyard. PPCF knew that a free-form design with rock formations, waterfalls, lush planted areas and a grotto would satisfy their wishes. They took the fantasy a step further and added tiny LED lighting in the ceiling of the cave that replicated the constellations one would be able to observe at night on a far-away island. In the “rock” on the outside of the cave they built a curving waterslide. To add even more drama, PPCF called on a classically trained artist to carve realistic tree trunks alongside the pool into which they built hypnotic fire features. Colored LED lighting was strategically placed to highlight the spa’s rock wall and provide pre-programmed light shows at the touch of a button.
