My Shower Door has the best quality shower hardware

Winning!

By Llyne Hayes.
How does a family-owned and operated Florida business continue to win awards year after year? Is it because of the top-quality products they produce, sell and install? Is it because they constantly strive to improve and innovate their methods and products, or is it because they truly care about their products, their employees and their customers?

The answer to all of these questions is “yes.” Since president and founder, Bill Daubmann, opened the first MY Shower Door showroom in 2003, his vision to create the very best in shower doors and customer service has led to his company repeatedly winning multiple awards, such as “Best Shower Door in the US” by Glass Magazine; being voted “Best in SW Florida” by the readers of both the Ft. Myers News-Press and the Naples Daily News for 17 consecutive years; being named one of the “Top 5,000 Fastest Growing Businesses in the US” and one of the
“250 Fastest Growing Companies in Florida” by INC magazine.
Bill, his wife, Donna, and their two sons, Keith and Doug, are always working to find ways to improve the quality and style of their products, while keeping prices and turnaround times low. The July, 2019 opening of their new 60,000 square foot manufacturing facility and headquarters ensures that they can continue to expand their volume, thereby keeping prices low while staying vigilant on quality control with expedient fabrication and installation.
Staying on the cutting edge of innovation in design is another factor in MY Shower Door’s success. They marketed the MY Ultra Clear Glass, which has a very low iron and mineral content, so that the greenish hue of glass is eliminated, allowing the homeowner to enjoy a cleaner and brighter view of their shower’s surrounds. They have also adapted the “barn door” fervor for their showers by creating MY Glide hardware, which gives a sleek, minimalistic look for sliding shower doors. For those who prefer a hinged door, their pivot hinge looks like a small contemporary sculpture. All of their hardware is available in several finishes, including the hottest trend, the sophisticated Matte Black.
The Daubmanns’ concerns are for more than just their products. They are just as protective of their employees as they are of their products. During the COVID-19 outbreak, they insisted that their employees shelter at home, with pay, even though the company was considered an essential business, and could have been asked to work. They extend this same consideration to their customers. Upon reopening the seven MY Shower Door stores, they instituted protocol to make certain that everything stay sanitized. They also provide PPE for their staff and customers in the way of masks, face shields and booties. For those customers still uncomfortable with leaving home, MY Shower Door employees have become very proficient in doing virtual consultations and handling all transactions electronically.
“Being quarantined gave a lot of homeowners the opportunity to examine their home to see where they could make it more enjoyable, more beautiful, more functional and more appealing,” Bill said, “When we reopened, we had long lists of people who had called to set up future appointments at all of our stores. Our goal, whether virtually or in person, is to give our customers the best possible experience.”
