It's not just Pure... It's Aqua Pure

Transplant Leaves Floridians with Fresh Clean Water

A health crisis drove Aqua Pure Solutions Owner, Luke Trombley, to the water filtration industry, and this tragic adversity in many ways has inspired his life’s work.

After a life-saving kidney transplant in 2004, his doctor told him, “You need to get a reverse osmosis right away!” Luke replied, ‘What’s wrong with the water, Doc?’” The doctor said, “Nothing I am aware of, but you have been given a gift and it is wiser to invest in a filter than to be a filter!” Luke will never forget it. It’s what led him into researching the field of water filtration. He now knows purified water hydrates our bodies better, puts less stress on our liver and kidneys, and ensures a better flow of oxygen to the brain which leads to better memory and energy. “I am certainly not a doctor, nor do I make medical claims,” Luke said, but knowing Florida water was recently ranked the second worst water in the nation by the Natural Resources Defense Council, he believes an under-sink reverse osmosis is the most important appliance in any kitchen. “Without a doubt, water is the most important ingredient,” he said. Why risk it?

Prior to Aqua Pure being incorporated in 2009, Luke spent three years working in the water treatment industry in Florida. He reads all of the industry magazines and participates in the WQA (Water Quality Association) seminars. Proudly today, he has thousands of clients, two locations, and almost 50 employees to service Southwest Florida with plans to open Aqua Pure University and open dealers throughout the United States.

“Your health is super important. Therefore, our obligation, morally and ethically, is to protect the people first,” Luke said. “Secondarily, if we can protect their home’s water-bearing appliances by making them last up to 70% longer, then we will have successfully surpassed their expectations.”

“Test! Test! Test the water! It’s unbelievable,” says Trombley. “Our tests are real. Before we even start to think about the plumbing in the floor, first and foremost we’re concerned with the plumbing inside of you! We check for chlorine, hard water, ammonia, heavy metals (lead, mercury, arsenic, etc), and nitrates (human and animal waste). We can measure the overall levels of contamination, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, herbicides, commercial and industrial wastes, etc. Tests right now are complimentary and valued at $159, and quotes are good for one year.

Luke’s business structure also benefits consumers, as an OEM – Original Equipment Manufacturer. He carries and services most makes and models. Factory direct to the consumer is a rare business model for his industry, points out Luke, and means Aqua Pure customers save money. They are 100% certain of the quality of the components because they build their own water conditioners and filtration systems locally in North Port, Florida.

As you might imagine, an organ donor has given Luke a second chance at life, and he is a willing organ donor as well. Closing the circle on his business, benefiting those in need – just as his personal story led to his business – a portion of every dollar spent at Aqua Pure goes to the National Kidney Foundation, St. Jude’s and the American Cancer Society.
